Description:

Makes it very easy to delete rows based on the values in a specified column. For example, you can delete all rows that contain a value between 0 and 12 in Column F. Features:

  • Fast and easy to use.
  • Criteria include: Empty Cells, Between, Not Between, Equal To, Not Equal To, Greater Than, Less Than, Greater Than or Equal To, Less Than or Equal To, and Similar to Pattern.
  • Includes an option to simply select the qualifying rows only (i.e., do not delete them).
  • This add-in is fully functional, not crippled, and has no nag messages. It is absolutely free, with no strings attached.


IMPORTANT:
Deleting rows with this utility cannot be undone. However, you can choose the 'Select the qualifying rows' option to select the rows and then use Edit Delete to delete the selected rows. Using this method, you can undo the deleted rows.

Installation:

  1. Download the J-Walk Conditional Row Delete add-in (it's a self-extracting EXE file).
  2. Extract the XLA add-in file by double-clicking the ROWDEL.EXE file.
  3. Start Excel and select the Tools - Add-Ins command. Don't even try using it with previous versions of Excel.
  4. In the Add-Ins dialog box, click the Browse button and locate rowdel.xla (the file you extracted in Step #2).
  5. Click OK
  6. Select Tools - J-Walk Conditional Row Delete from the menu.
  7. Complete the dialog box to specify the rows you want to delete.
