Just for funDuring a recent trip to Las Vegas, we played a few games of Keno during some of our meals. The game itself pretty much sucks, but it makes a pretty good Excel application. NOTE: This workbook requires Excel 97 or later. Download
How to playEach game consists of drawing 20 random numbers. Click 'Choose Numbers' and then click on from 1 to 10 "spots." The object of the game is to predict which numbers will be selected. Click 'Play!' to draw the numbers. Payoffs are determined by the number of spots you pick, and the number of matching numbers that were drawn. The payoffs are typical of those paid in casinos. In other words, you're not likely to win. |
