Description:

This workbook allows you to select two U.S. cities, and then displays a comparison chart for the following variables.

  • Temperature
  • Precipitation
  • Percent Sunshine
  • Wind

This is one of the example files distributed with Excel Charts.

By the way, you'll notice that this workbook does not use a single macro.

Download:

Installation:

  1. Download the ClimateDataForExcel.exe file (it's a self-extracting EXE file).
  2. Extract the workbook file by double-clicking the ClimateDataForExcel.exe file.  You will have the opportunity to select a location.
  3. Start Excel and open the workbook, which is named 'climate data.xls'.
