What is Google Content Blocker?
mission is to organize the world's advertising for maximum exposure to Web
users. Unfortunately, annoying Web content often overwhelms the page, causing
many users to become distracted and overlook the ads.
That's where Google Content Blocker comes in. It effectively blocks
all Web site content,
leaving only the advertisements.
How does Google Content Blocker work?
What types of ads will I see?
After you install Google Content Block, just surf the Web as you
normally do. When we find a site that has content, we will block
that content so you see only the ads. It all happens automatically,
with no effort on your part.
Once the content is removed from a Web site, you will
see all of the original ads, unencumbered by annoying content. The ads
fall into two categories:.
Ads are the best ads, because we make money every time someone
clicks. Learn more
Blocker does not block other ads. This is consistent with the
"we are not evil" spirit that our PR department always talks
What can I do once the content is removed?
- Click on the ads: Just click
'em (you don't even have to read 'em). Every time you click an
ad, money changes hands. As an option, you can install the
free Google Content Blocker "ka-ching!"
audio support file.
- Look at the ads: You probably
already know that ads are interesting, entertaining, and
informative. So look at them. You may not even realize it, but
just looking at an ad will help our advertisers because
eventually you're going to click on that sucker.
- Click on the ads: Use your mouse.
Move the mouse pointer over an ad, then click the mouse
- Tell your friends about the ads:
Tell them how cute and funny the ads are, and tell them how to
find them. Also tell them to click on the ads.
- Click on the ads: If you see an ad,
click it. It's as easy as that.
