Office Recent Files
Office Recent Files is a sidebar gadget for Windows Vista and
Windows 7. It displays a list of your most recently opened Microsoft Office
files (Excel, Word, or PowerPoint). Click a file, and it opens.
Download it:
Right-click the link, and save the file. The file you download should be named
office-recent-files.gadget. Then double-click to install the gadget and
display it on your desktop.
Remember, this gadget works only with Windows Vista and Windows 7. In
addition, you must have Microsoft Office 2007 and/or Microsoft Office 2010
installed.
Features:
- Choose the version (Office 2007 or Office 2010) by clicking the title.
- Choose the app (Excel, Word, or PowerPoint) by using the left/right
arrows.
- Display the list sorted by last use, or display the file names
alphabetically.
- Hove your mouse over a file name, and a tooltip displays the full path.
- Choose from eight color schemes.
- Display a larger size by "undocking" the gadget in Windows Vista -- or
by clicking the "Larger Size" control in Windows 7.
- If a file you click is not found, you are given the opportunity to
delete the file name from the list.
